Today was a day off from work, so it meant a day of cosplay work. Both of these are commissions I’m working on to send out by the end of next week.
The first one is for Eren from Attack on Titan. The jacket just needs its buttons and it will be complete. The shirt it totally done, and the pants are done except for the hem. I still have to make the weird wrap thingy they wear around their hips and get all that funky harness made. I bought all the leather for it from Tandy Leather yesterday because my customer wanted real leather for the harness. Since he’s been a loyal customer (this is his fifth purchase from me), I was happy to oblige him. Oh, and the patches were some the customer ordered and sent to me, I didn’t make them, just ironed them on^^
The second one is Rapunzel from Tangled. Finding the right colors for her is hard as all hell without dyeing fabrics. But in the end, the customer as well as the person it’s actually for both like these fabrics (I think they will make her stand out for sure) and so do I. I’m actually really jealous of this because I adore the jacquards I’m using for the corset and the center panel on the skirt. They were a lucky find on fabric.com. I hope to have more work done on this soon so that I can get to painting the details on the skirt. I wish I owned an embroidery machine to do that, but I can’t even begin to afford one of those right now.
